Mohsen Rafieian is a registered physiotherapist, in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He is a member of Canadian and Ontario Physiotherapy Associations. He has completed the Contemporary Acupuncture Program in McMaster University, and is certified for assessment and dispensing Custom Made Orthotics. He has also completed a Masters degree in Anatomy and Embryology. Mohsen taught and researched in universities aboard for many years. During his career, he has attended several refreshment studies and post-graduate programs in manual therapy, physiotherapy assessment, and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions. Mohsen has over 20 years of experience working with clients with neurological conditions such as Brain Injury, Hemiplegic and MS in private, hospital and nursing home settings. He also has extensive experience with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sport injuries and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Along with this, has vast years of management experience in both academic and rehabilitation fields in Canada and abroad.
Masoumeh Ghassemi is a registered physiotherapist, in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She is a member of Canadian and Ontario Physiotherapy Associations for more than 20 years. Masoumeh is a graduate from University of Toronto and has extensive clinical experience with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, post surgery, and sport injuries in adolescent, adult/geriatric population in private, home and hospital settings. She is dedicated to achieve high standard of care for her patients through continuing education. She has done numerous post-graduate courses in manual therapy, pain management, orthotic prescription, compression therapy, and acupuncture. Masoumeh is passionate toward her work and incorporates her manual treatment techniques along with a use of wide range of therapeutic modalities including laser therapy, shockwave treatment, electrotherapeutic modalities, and individual exercise programming. She has accommodated and treated many patients in their home settings when they were unable to attend the clinic. As part of her achievements, she has become a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.
Dr. Edward Chan
Dr. Edward Chan completed his Bachelor of Science degree at University of Victoria in Biochemistry. Following undergrad, Dr. Chan earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Post graduation, Dr. Chan obtained training and education in acupuncture and is currently a registered acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the CTCMPAO. In addition,Dr. Chan completed studies from the faculty of medicine at University of Montreal in insurance medicine. Dr. Chan has practiced around the GTA with exposure to a number of different patients and understands that each patient is different, requiring dedicated attention in achieving optimum health.
Mohammed Asghar (Doctor in Audiology) is a Clinical Audiologist with more than 20 years of experience in Audiology. He graduated in Medicine in 1980 and received his certification in ENT from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in 1984. He completed his Masters in Audiology in 1987 at Manchester University, UK. He also completed his Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) from Salus University, Pennsylvania, USA in 2002. He is a registered Audiologist with CASLPO since June 2004. He has also been certified by CASLPA and the American Board of Audiology.
Mohammed Asghar’s areas of interest are Vestibular Assessment and Management, with a special interest in the treatment and management of Benign Peripheral Positional Vertigo (BPPV). So far he has treated more than 650 patients with BPPV. Currently Mohammed Asghar is associated with our Vestibular Rehabilitation Team.
Taylor is a Registered Kinesiologist, in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She is a member of the Ontario Kinesioloy Association. Taylor is a graduate from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) Kinesiology Degree. Upon graduating, Taylor decided to continue her education at Humber College, where she obtained a postgraduate certificate in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management. This allowed her to use the theoretical knowledge from university and hands on experience from college and apply it to a variety of patients including children, teenagers, elite athletes, adults and seniors. Taylor is certified in Personal Training, Mental Health First Aid Canada, CPR/AED Level HCP and is also a First Responder. Taylor abides by the philosophy that hard work, dedication and commitment are the qualities that one needs to possess in order to become successful. She believes that courage is a mastery of fear, not an absence of fear. With her previous hands on experience, ongoing education and a passion to help individuals, Taylor will be able to assist each patient on a personal and professional level to ensure optimal benefits and results.

Huahong（Howard）He, is a registered massage therapist and registered acupuncturist/traditional Chinese medicine practitioner (TCMP) based in Ontario. Howard brings a unique perspective to his practice by integrating both Western and Eastern medicine approaches to address issues related to tightness, stiffness, adhesions, and limited mobility in soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, bursae, sheaths, and ligaments.
Howard possesses a wide range of skills and utilizes various traditional and modern massage techniques to effectively alleviate muscle tension and pain in his clients. His repertoire includes Tuina, Shiatsu, soft tissue mobilization techniques, trigger point release techniques, and PNF stretches (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), among others.
Howard firmly believes that pain is not a standalone ailment but rather an experiential response influenced by a multitude of biopsychosocial factors. As a manual therapist, he lives by the motto “Hands ON, Pains Gone,” reflecting his commitment to providing hands-on, holistic pain relief solutions.

Qinghua (Zoe) An is a registered massage therapist and is in good standing with College of Massage of Ontario (CMTO). She graduated from the Pharma-medical Science College of Canada. She focuses on helping her clients to reach their individual health goals with a verity of different techniques such as: deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, myofascial release, trigger-point treatment, hydrotherapy and scalp massage.
Tiana is a vibrant individual with a passion for health and wellness. She completed a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. With her innate positivity and enthusiasm, she is dedicated to ensuring that every individual feels valued and attended to.
Jordan has an honours degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Waterloo. Always eager to help others, he maintains a positive, friendly, and fun attitude. Outside of work, his main interests are in science and technology and he is excited to discuss any topic or learn something new.
